Atlas
Workout tracking for people who actually lift

The Challenge
Most workout trackers bury the actual workout under subscriptions, ads, and features nobody asked for. Atlas needed to do the opposite: let someone log a plan, run through sets with a rest timer, and see their progress, without fighting the app to get there.
The Approach
I built Atlas as a full-stack app: a React and Vite frontend for logging sessions, swapping exercises mid-workout, and running a built-in rest timer, backed by an Express and MongoDB API handling auth, plans, sessions, and progress data. The UI is dark and mobile-first, designed to hold up as a one-handed app between sets, not a desktop dashboard squeezed onto a phone.
The Result
Atlas is live in production and used regularly by around 200 monthly active users tracking their plans, sessions, and progress week over week.

Heading
Hanken Grotesk
A bold, no-nonsense grotesk for headings and page titles, built for a dark gym-app UI rather than a wellness brand.
Body
JetBrains Mono
A monospace face for anything numeric: sets, reps, weight, timers, so the data reads like it's coming off a machine, not a marketing site.
